Japanese books about cats seem to be all the rage right now and I have been reading a fair amount of them--as well as looking into Wabi Sabi and Japanese mending--maybe I will actually pick up some of these traits.

I really enjoyed this book and will be keeping it on my forever shelf as I would like to one day give it a re-read. The tale is told from the perspective of the cat--an engaging tale about friendship and the things we will do for the people or animals that we love.

As a woman in my sixties who has started over many a time I was initially excited to find this book and its blurb: What does it mean to start again at sixty? This however turned out to be a jumbled mess of a book. I like her expected way more than I got from this title. I will not not be spending any more valueable reading time with this author.
